Privacy Policy — Code Quality

Code Quality is an app for managing construction-site inspection and approval requests between owner, contractor and consultant. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email and password (stored hashed; nobody can read it).
• Project data: project name and parties, and the requests, forms, comments, decisions and site instructions you or your team enter.
• Files: photos and PDF files you attach to requests.
• Notifications: if you enable them, your device's push address so we can send alerts.
• Anonymous usage counter: a random device ID, device type, whether the app is installed and open time, to count users and improve the app.

How we use it

• To run the app: sign-in, showing requests to project teams, sending notifications.
• To improve the app and count users.
• To contact you about your account when needed.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you outside the app.

Who can see your data

A project's data is visible only to that project's members, according to each team's permissions. Data is stored on cloud servers operated by Supabase on our behalf, over encrypted connections.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from “My account → Delete account” or from the account deletion page. Deletion permanently erases your personal data and notifications. Requests and approvals already recorded in shared projects remain with the other project members as part of the project record, showing the name used at the time.

Children

The app is meant for engineers and companies and is not intended for anyone under 18.
